The Cursillos of Christianity are a Movement of the Church that encourages Christian life, helps people to discover and realize their personal vocations, and encourage the creation of groups of Christians who are spreading the gospel. One of the tools used by this movement is the meeting of small friendship groups referred to as the ultreya, which means “Go ahead!” They meet weekly in a climate of friendship, and share what they have experienced based on the tripod (piety, study, action) or on a text of the Gospel. People share testimonies concerning their spiritual life and apostolic experiences. This sharing of experiences becomes an apostolic “model”, a practical example, a challenge from the Lord that seems to invite us: “Go and do the same”.

“Los Cursillos de Cristiandad son un Movimiento de la Iglesia que posibilitan la vivencia y la convivencia de los cristianos, ayudan a descubrir y realizar la vocación personal, y propician la creación de grupos decristianos para compartir el evangelio. Unas de las herramienta es la reunión de los grupos de amistad que es la ultreya, que significaba “¡Adelante!” El grupo se reúne semanalmente en un clima de amistad, se intercambia sobre lo vivido, sea a base del trípode (piedad, estudio, acción), sea a partir de un texto del Evangelio. Ahí se escucha unos testimonios referentes a la vida interior y unas experiencias apostólicas. Este hecho de compartir lo vivencial llega a ser un “modelo” apostólico, un ejemplo práctico, un reto del Señor que parece invitarnos: “Vayan y hagan igual”.
