St. Michael’s is a site for community service for a number of groups of people. Students who need volunteer hours for school often participate in our major events as volunteers, bringing their enthusiasm and creativity to our efforts. Individuals who are required to do community service through the court system are also welcomed and frequently assist with everyday tasks and upkeep around the grounds. The Pastoral Assistant oversees this program and provides any needed documentation of hours served.
Available hours for community service vary based on the needs of the parish, so it is wise to call early to determine if there are sufficient hours to accommodate individuals.
